They are seeking a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster who will provide exceptional service by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims accurately and promptly.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to our policyholders
- Virtually inspect damages, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and accurately
- Interact with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration
- Communicate through different channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages
- Focus on water losses, ensuring that customers receive the highest level of support and resolution for these specific claims
- Investigate property claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage
- Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants, in accordance with all legal and business standard methodologies
- Utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms
- Keep a clear record of work in a claims system and ensure timely and accurate documentation is completed as claims are worked on
Skills
- 1+ years of previous customer service experience required
- Previous industry experience is highly desired
- Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred
- Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions
- Residency within the Meridian, ID area is required
