The Impact You Will Have in This Role As a Medical Affairs Professional, You will leverage curiosity and innovation to drive meaningful impact: - Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Advocates, and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) aligned with corporate goals. - Coordinate grants, fellowships, and product donation programs as assigned. - Manage Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) processes. - Process consulting contracts and Fair Market Value (FMV) documentation in a timely manner. - Build and maintain relationships with Professional Medical Societies Organizations (PMSOs). - Organize and manage advisory panels when appropriate. - Develop strategies to improve the use of KOL, Advocate, and PMSO relationships to support company initiatives. - Ensure timely honoraria payments to consultant HCPs and manage educational grants according to company guidelines. - Identify and develop high-level speakers in assigned medical specialties. - Apply industry best practices when working with surgeons, physicians, and researchers. - Resolve issues with HCP engagements such as compliance or payment matters. - Anticipate operational or compliance risks and recommend preventive solutions. - Support therapy awareness in wound care through HCP collaboration. - Work cross-functionally across departments and business units to achieve Medical Affairs goals. - Represent Public Affairs (PA) and Global Medical Sciences (GMS) in internal teams and external engagements. Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: - Ability to work independently and efficiently to achieve results. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - High level of confidentiality and professional discretion. - Positive service-oriented mindset when interacting with colleagues and stakeholders. - Strong networking, coordination, and relationship management skills. - Excellent presentation and analytical abilities. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously. - Strong team collaboration skills. - Experience with Oracle systems and basic accounting principles. - Experience with Salesforce CRM platforms. - Experience with KOL database management systems. - Knowledge of educational grants, fellowships, and product donation processes. - Familiarity with clinical research processes and investigator-initiated trials management. Work Location: Remote Travel Requirements: Up to 5% travel (national and/or international).
