Management consulting company that provides financial service for nonprofit organizations seeks a Product Owner. The Product Owner is responsible for evolving and managing the company's core outsourced finance product for nonprofits. This offering addresses the complexities of both publicly funded (government-regulated) and privately funded organizations. The Product Owner serves as the technical expert in nonprofit finance and service delivery — ensuring FaaS is clearly defined, scalable, and continuously refined. Core Responsibilities Product Evolution & Roadmap • Serve as the technical expert in nonprofit financial management and sector needs (budgeting, reporting, compliance). • Define, refine, and re-build the FaaS model over time, including scope, tiers, and service levels. • Recommend improvements based on delivery feedback, client input, and sector trends. • Partner with the Head of Product to ensure alignment with the overall product roadmap and strategy. Collaboration & Enablement • Work closely with the Product Enablement Lead to codify FaaS standards into playbooks, SOPs, and training. • Ensure delivery teams (North America and global) are equipped with clear resources and tools to execute consistently. • Collaborate with Client VPFs and Practice Managers to validate feasibility and effectiveness of FaaS delivery. Sales & Marketing • Support the Head of Product in positioning FaaS in the market. • Provide product-specific expertise to Sales and Marketing, ensuring messaging reflects both public and private funding contexts. • Contribute to the development of collateral, case studies, and client-facing materials under Head of Product direction. Market Insight & Continuous Improvement • Partner with the Head of Product to synthesize client, prospect, and market insights into recommendations for product evolution. • Monitor nonprofit financial sector trends across regulated and nonregulated environments. • Recommend process or service delivery enhancements to improve FaaS efficiency and scalability. This is a fully remote role day to day. However, candidates must be able to work EST hours and be able to get to the NYC office for specific meetings and trainings on a semi-regular basis Base salary 150-180k base plus competitive bonus and benefits Apply tot his job
