Product Data Analyst

Support the design and implementation of data-related initiatives and systems, including requirements gathering and analysis, planning, and developing solutions; Gather and analyze requirements, create design documents, and perform impact analysis in support of the company's various data-related initiatives and system development; Analyze large data sets using various statistical models to identify improvement opportunities on the company's advertising platform and partner with internal team in cultivating long-term strategic goals for product development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders; Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and perform testing of the related environments, in order to build scalable data lakes and data warehouses that would transfer a large amount of data; Utilize various statistical models to evaluate industry trends and identify opportunities for use of new technologies and data sources for improvement, as well as prepare strategies to implement the proposed enhancements in the data environment; Utilize knowledge in statistics and quantitative modeling to create dashboards that visualize the project progress, present the performance and the potential impact of design changes for various internal stakeholders, including data scientists, data engineers, and media publishers; Act as an internal consultant and provide detailed data to help business users develop, enhance and maintain the metadata layers, reports, report definitions and dashboards; and Analyze problems raised by users and resolve issues independently. Position allows 100% telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Salary: $101,566 - $105,000 / year MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Economics, Statistics, or a related field plus 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or any job title/occupation/position involving query development and design using SQL. Must also have the following skills: 2 years of professional experience writing queries against traditional relational and dimensional databases; 2 years of professional experience building interactive dashboards with Tableau and Google Looker Studio; 2 years of professional experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and BigQuery; 2 years of professional experience utilizing data warehouses, data marts, and OLAP technologies; 1 year of professional experience performing advanced query development and design using SQL; 1 year of professional experience performing data analytics and visualization, and monitoring systems using Tableau, Prometheus and Grafana; and 1 year of professional experience utilizing Agile methods including Scrum or Kanban.
