Procurement Specialist (Data Center)

We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to support large-scale Data Center operations. This role will own procurement workflows from purchase requests through supplier coordination, contract support, and delivery tracking. Candidates must have direct experience supporting procurement in a Data Center environment, including IT infrastructure hardware, services, and vendor management associated with mission-critical operations. Responsibilities Ensure daily execution and accountability across all procurement workflows for assigned Data Center programs. Own Coupa administration and creation of Purchase Requests (PRs) for a large Data Center organization. Manage tender events including RFPs/RFQs, bid analysis, and follow-on contract generation. Track product shipments, delivery milestones, and fulfillment accuracy for Data Center-related hardware and services. Create and submit Purchase Requests while maintaining data accuracy across procurement systems. Monitor requisitions and coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and suppliers. Audit procurement tools, transactions, and records to ensure SLA compliance and data integrity. Analyze price variance across infrastructure components, support services, and project scope changes. Manage vendor relationships in a high-availability operations environment. Identify workflow gaps and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes. Qualifications Required: Bachelor s degree from an accredited university. 5+ years of procurement experience, with a minimum of 1+ years supporting Data Center procurement operations. Hands-on experience procuring Data Center infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, cabling, racks, or colocation-related services. Strong Coupa experience or equivalent enterprise procurement platforms. Experience as a Buyer, Purchaser, or Procurement Operations professional. Proven ability to perform price analysis and cost variance evaluation. High-accuracy data entry and strong attention to detail. Strong vendor management and supplier negotiation skills. Preferred: Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Advanced Excel capability (pivot tables, v-lookups/x-lookups, formulas). Experience with additional procurement or ERP platforms (SAP, Ariba, Oracle, etc.). Experience with invoice management, reconciliation, and P2P workflows. Familiarity with Data Center operations, deployment cycles, and lifecycle management. Apply Now Apply Now
