Job Summary

The Patient Services Coordinator is a critical role that involves building, maintaining, and assisting with the design of CHCI's provider scheduling templates. This position requires a high level of organizational skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong background in customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Template Management: Ensure provider scheduling templates are built and maintained according to CHCI's guidelines, and raise concerns to management as needed.
• Processing Template Change Requests: Timely, efficient, and accurate processing of template change requests, including escalating requests that require manager approval.
• Audits and Compliance: Perform periodic audits of provider scheduling templates to ensure compliance with CHCI's template guidelines and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Task Management: Track progress and completion of template change requests within CHCI's request application, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Additional Responsibilities: May assist with template design, answer and coordinate phone calls, and perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel as a Patient Services Coordinator at CHCI, you should possess:

• Education: An Associate's degree is preferred.
• Healthcare Experience: Experience in medical, dental, or behavioral health settings is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management systems is an asset.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Multitasking: Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home. The role requires:

• Work Hours: Availability to work varying hours between 7am - 5pm, Monday-Friday, and 7am - 4pm on Saturdays.
• Physical Effort: Minimal physical effort required; ability to operate a computer and telephone continuously.
