About the Role: Providing Strategic HR Support in a Dynamic Environment

As our Part Time HR Generalist, you'll play a critical role in providing day-to-day tactical HR support, driving HR initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: A Diverse Range of HR Activities

• Employee Relations:
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate Culture Sponsor meetings and programs to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
  • Design and execute communication regarding events, holidays, and company-related announcements.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all culture-related improvements or employee engagement initiatives.
  • Manage the eNPS Survey and feedback process to drive employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Assist in recruiting high-priority roles as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Support employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and providing recommendations.
• Performance Management:
  • Assist in administering performance review processes, ensuring timely completion and consistency.
  • Support managers in addressing performance-related issues and developing improvement plans.
• Compliance and Record Keeping:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
• HR Administration:
  • Own the day-to-day administrative functions of the HR department, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Manage all leave of absence (LOA) programs, ensuring compliance and supporting employees.

Success Metrics: Achieving Excellence in HR

As our Part Time HR Generalist, you'll be expected to achieve specific goals and metrics within designated timeframes. These include:

• Immediately managing all LOA programs and making recommendations for compliance with state and federal HR laws.
• Becoming the primary BambooHR administrator and owning all employee records and data within 1 month.
• Developing and implementing new hire onboarding, internal communications, and feedback processes within 1 month.
• Completing the HR process and policy project within 6 months of hire.
• Achieving specific targets for employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration, including:
  • Resolution time for employee issues (<7 days)
  • Employee satisfaction with HR support (=85%)
  • Improvement in eNPS (>85%)
  • Completion rate of performance reviews (100% on time)
  • Compliance audit score (100%)
  • Accuracy of HR records (100% error-free)
  • Timeliness and quality of HR reports and documentation (100% on time and error-free)

Essential Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification, demonstrating your expertise in HR principles and practices.
• Experience supporting a variety of HR needs across multiple states, with a deep understanding of employment law and regulations.
• Proven ability to work effectively with a remote workforce, leveraging technology to drive collaboration and productivity.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and follow-through.
• Experience with HRIS systems, including administration and data management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Resourcefulness and initiative, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to drive data-driven recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications: Adding an Extra Layer of Expertise

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• Experience helping a company scale up in headcount, with a deep understanding of the associated HR challenges.
• Experience with hiring H1B candidates and sponsorship processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex HR issues in a clear and concise manner.
• A solution-oriented approach, with a desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems, including BambooHR.

• Hourly pay: $32-38/hour, depending on your level of experience and expertise.
• Approximately 20 hours/week, with flexibility to work up to 30 hours/week on high-demand weeks.
