Learn more: Position Overview Prospera Accouting is seeking a Part-Time Accountant with strong accounting/bookkeeping experience to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a self-starter who works well independently and has strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Process invoices, payments, and reconcile transactions Maintain accurate financial records and balance general ledgers Prepare and analyze financial reports for management Monitor and reconcile bank and credit card transactions Assist with payroll processing and compliance with tax regulations Ensure financial activities align with federal, state, and local requirements Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Provide financial insights to clients to support informed decision-making Qualifications Experience: Minimum 4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Education: Associates degree in Accounting (Bachelors preferred) Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace (equivalents are acceptable) Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently Benefits 401(k) with 6% company contribution Access to supplemental benefits through Colonial Life Flexible work schedule (must be available on Mondays) Opportunities for growth to full-time position and skill development Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience) Hours: 15-25 hours per week Apply Job!
