What's so hard about hiring people in multiple locations anyway? Each country, state, and municipality has its own employment requirements that need to be maintained on an ongoing basis. Those requirements span HR, tax, accounting, and legal which is complicated and requires deep expertise. As a result, keeping up with the differences and the sheer volume of obligations makes hiring people in many locations expensive and painful. About the role: Operations drives mission-critical initiatives to support processes for scale at Mosey. You’ll work across teams and vendors to assist with strategic projects and provide planning, analytical, operational, and implementation support. We are looking for a hard-charging generalist who is focused on outcomes and builds strong relationships along the way. Responsibilities Provide support to state registration requests, trouble shooting, and maintaining SLAs Identify improvements to registration and filing systems and processes Identify improvements to compliance requirements monitoring, updates, and coverage Provide support to users—answering questions and handling requests Support product feature launches and rollout to customers Write user communications and/or announcements Capabilities Excellent communicator, verbal and written Analytical thinking, ability to break down problems into parts Strong project management skills Learns new skills and problem domains quickly Requirements 1+ years experience with payroll registrations 1+ years working in operations or related function Previous experience working directly with customers Experience working at an early-stage startup or eagerness to learn Experience working with a BPO a plus Strong connection with the mission of the company The compensation range for this position is between $50,000 and $80,000 (plus equity) depending on experience.
