SS&C Technologies is a leading financial services and healthcare technology company headquartered in Windsor, Connecticut. They are seeking an Operations Analyst to execute operations activities, maintain client data, process financial transactions, and collaborate with various teams to resolve client issues.
Responsibilities
- Execute operations activities, including but not limited to, transaction processing, tax payments, and account maintenance timely with extreme accuracy
- Input and maintain and update client data in InnoTrust, InnoPay and other systems
- Process cash, wire, ACH, check, securities, and other financial transactions
- Perform account and bank reconciliations; research and resolve out-of-balances
- Manage personal workload, assist teammates, and escalate issues when needed
- Adhere to documented processes to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, internal departments, vendors, and partners
- Collaborate with client relationship teams to resolve client issues
- Provide timely user support and follow-up on client service requests
- Draft, review, and update internal policies and procedures
- Assist in audits by gathering and organizing required data
- Participate in internal projects as needed
Skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy within strict deadlines
- Willingness to challenge and improve current processes
- Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
- Financial services experience including reconciliation, shadow posting, processing cash and securities transactions
- Knowledge of trust operations, financial markets, securities, or retirement industries
- InnoTrust, Black Diamond, Advent ACD, InnoPay, SQL
