FLVS is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assist in the provision of services and resources for students who demonstrate a need for Occupational Therapy as a related service. The Occupational Therapist will work directly with schools, families, and students to identify student needs, administer assessments, and provide direct and indirect services based on established IEP goals and objectives. Requirements Master’s Degree or higher with a degree in Occupational Therapy Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapist Licensure Minimum of three years in field of Occupational Therapy Minimum of three years in the field of Education Teletherapy and virtual education experience preferred Knowledge of current trends and research in occupational therapy Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal rules, regulations, policies, and legislation related to the identification, evaluation, remediation, and implementation of occupational therapy programs Understanding of associated laws (IDEA, ADA, Section 504) and the legal rights related to the program Benefits Competitive salaries Well-rounded benefits package Generous paid time off (including 25 holidays, vacation, and sick leave) Professional development opportunities Originally posted on Himalayas
