The ideal candidate will play a key role in service modernization, API design, and cloud-ready architecture. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing legacy services (SOAP/WCF/ASMX/monoliths) and design migration strategies to RESTful APIs Develop and maintain REST APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+ / .NET 8 Refactor and modernize backend services for scalability, performance, and maintainability Implement API best practices (versioning, security, documentation, error handling) Design and integrate microservices architecture where applicable Work with frontend and integration teams to ensure seamless API consumption Optimize APIs for performance, reliability, and security Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions Document APIs using tools like Swagger / OpenAPI
