Employment Type: Contract/Remote Location: Milwaukee, WI or Mesa, AZ (Remote for local candidates only) Duration: 12+ months with possible extension or conversion Pay range: $26/hr - $31/hr Schedule: Mon – Fri Job Description Position Overview: This role offers multiple levels, open to candidates with 1-2+ years of experience. The successful candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on their qualifications. As part of a collaborative team, you will maintain the general ledger and records for mutual funds of varying complexity, ensuring accurate end-of-day net asset value (NAV) calculations. Key responsibilities include: • Daily general ledger accounting and reconciliations (cash, portfolio, expenses) • Processing advisor/portfolio management transactions and corporate actions • Expense accrual/payment postings and NAV/mill rate determination • Portfolio pricing validation and reconciliation • Distributing timely internal/external reporting • Partnering with administrators, transfer agents, and custodians to ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP Basic Qualifications: • Associate degree (AA) or relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree (BS) preferred • 1–2 years of experience in accounting/finance Preferred Skills/Experience: • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reporting, and analysis • Ability to resolve discrepancies and analyze data effectively • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Top Skills Required: • Accounting • Attention to detail • Excel proficiency • Strong communication .
