We are an early-stage startup building a cost-effective package locker solution for apartment communities to reduce package theft and improve tenant experience.
We’re looking for a market researcher / analyst to help us gather real, actionable data that will directly support our sales and go-to-market strategy.
This is not academic research. This is practical, sales-driven market intelligence.
What You’ll Be Researching
-Apartment communities in Austin, TX (and nearby cities)
-1-bedroom apartment pricing (around $1,500/month range)
-Which properties currently have package lockers and which do not
-Existing locker providers (ParcelPending, Luxer One, Amazon Hub, manual package rooms, etc.)
-Amenity fees charged to tenants (general + package-related)
-Pain points related to package theft, staff time, and tenant complaints
Additional Work
Build simple surveys for:
-Apartment tenants
-Property managers
-Help analyze willingness to pay for package locker amenities
-Organize findings into clear spreadsheets and summaries we can use directly in sales calls
Deliverables
-Clean spreadsheet/database of researched properties
-Summary of findings with key insights
-Survey results and interpretation
-Clear takeaways we can use as sales ammunition
Ideal Candidate
-Experience with market research or real estate research
-Comfortable working with spreadsheets and structured data
-Able to think commercially (what helps sales, not just what’s interesting)
-Bonus: experience with multifamily, proptech, or commercial real estate
This role may expand as we scale to additional cities.
