As a Junior Account Executive, you will engage in outbound sales activities, qualify leads, and work towards transitioning into a full-cycle sales role. Responsibilities - Serve as the first point of contact for prospective Torch customers - High-volume outbound activity (typically 90+ calls/day during ramp, decreasing as you take on demos and maintain conversion rate targets) - Qualify accounts and build pipeline across dental practices - Shadow closing calls and gradually take on your own full demos as soon as your fourth month - Utilize Salesforce and Dialpad to manage your pipeline and track prospect conversations - Receive coaching and development sessions from Sales Managers - Work toward promotion to AE role with full closing ownership, SDR and Marketing support Skills - 0 - 2 years of experience as a SDR in an outbound sales, SaaS SMB or mid-market environment, with a strong emphasis on qualification and discovery - Recent graduate with strong demonstrated interest in sales or competitive positions (internships, leadership, student organizations, athletics) - Proven ability to handle high-volume outbound activity and qualify pipeline - Interest in building a full-cycle sales career - Highly coachable, competitive, and curious with a strong internal drive - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated by ownership Benefits - 401k benefits with Empower - Unlimited paid time off (PTO) - Maternity and Paternity leave - Medical and dental coverage with Aetna - Work from home stipend for remote employees - Fully stocked fridge and pantry for hybrid employees - An employee-driven culture with happy hours, team events, and other initiatives to celebrate our many successes Company Overview - Torch Dental is a rapidly growing start-up whose mission is to improve the lives of healthcare providers by simplifying supply ordering, providing transparent pricing, and modernizing a previously outdated ordering process.
