Key Responsibilities
• Write, test, and document technical work products (code, scripts, processes) according to organizational standards.
• Solve complex technical problems and build reusable components/libraries.
• Deliver high-quality work and mentor junior engineers.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify systemic issues and implement solutions.
• Design integrated systems enabling teams across product domains to deliver value at scale.
• Manage and reduce technical debt within existing systems.
• Anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices early in the development lifecycle.
• Evaluate technical risks and implement preventative strategies.
• Improve team delivery practices and drive process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for code reuse and reduced duplication across teams.
• Evaluate team performance and support individual development.
• Explore emerging technologies, develop prototypes, and integrate them into architectural solutions where appropriate.
