The Role
We are seeking an ISO & R2 Management Systems Consultant to support and lead client engagements related to R2 certification, ISO standards, and continual improvement programs.
This is a delivery-focused consulting role. You will work directly with clients to implement, maintain, audit, and improve management systems, with a strong emphasis on electronics recycling and downstream due diligence requirements.
The role requires approximately 50% travel to client sites for assessments, audits, and on-site support, with the remaining work performed remotely.
What You’ll Do
Consulting & Implementation
• Lead and support R2 management system implementations
• Assist clients with initial certification, surveillance, and recertification readiness
• Translate R2 requirements into practical, site-specific processes
• Support development of policies, procedures, records, and risk assessments
• Guide clients through downstream due diligence, data security, and environmental controls
Auditing & Assessments
• Conduct internal audits and gap assessments for R2 and ISO standards
• Support corrective action development and closure
• Prepare clients for third-party certification audits
• Review audit findings and help clients address nonconformities effectively
Client Support & Advisory
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for assigned clients
• Provide ongoing guidance on compliance, interpretation, and best practices
• Support continual improvement and system maturity over time
Internal Contributions
• Contribute to Glacier’s R2 tools, templates, and methodologies
• Help improve internal consulting processes and knowledge sharing
• Assist with documentation review and project coordination as needed

What We’re Looking For
Required
• 2–5+ years of experience with R2 consulting, auditing, or implementation
• Strong working knowledge of R2 requirements and intent
• Experience supporting certification audits (internal or external)
• Ability to interpret standards and apply them pragmatically
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple client projects independently
• Experience working in a remote consulting environment
Preferred (but not required)
• R2 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification
• Experience working with electronics recyclers or downstream vendors
• ISO Lead Auditor or internal Auditor certifications (9001, 14001, 45001)
• Familiarity with certification body audit processes
• Experience with CRM or project management tools
