Hi! I'm a Registered Dietitian in private practice looking for an experienced medical biller who can help me troubleshoot and correctly submit approximately 8 claims that have been returned or denied by Aetna and Maritain Health.
These claims involve telehealth MEDICAL NUTRITION THERAPY and some issues related to:
-Missing telehealth modifiers
-Place of service (POS 02 vs 10)
-Aetna Signature Administrators (ASA / Maritain PPO) network mapping
-Returned-to-provider status due to claim formatting issues
I'm looking for someone who can:
✓ Correct & submit the claims on my behalf
✓ Diagnose why each claim was returned or unpaid
✓ Ensure all claims are formatted properly (modifier 95, POS, NPI/TIN, etc.)
✓ Walk me through how you fix them, so I can understand the process going forward
✓ Potentially continue doing my billing as my practice grows
Requirements
Please apply if you have experience with:
1) Billing for dietitians or mental health providers
2) Submitting claims to Aetna Commercial, Aetna Signature Administrators (ASA), and/or Meritain Health
3) Telehealth billing (modifier 95, POS 02/10)
4) Claim corrections, resubmissions, and reading EOB denial codes
5)Using AVAILITY or a similar clearinghouse
6) Understanding CAQH, NPI, EIN alignment (not required but helpful)
Deliverables (Short-Term Project)
-Successfully submit and resolve ~8 outstanding claims
-Provide a short explanation/training of how you corrected each claim
-Ensure claims route to the correct network (Aetna PPO, ASA PPO, Maritain PPO)
-Verify coding is compliant
