Role Description
We’re looking for a Web Analytics / CRO Specialist with strong hands-on experience in website experimentation, analytics, and tracking implementation — paired with a solid understanding of how data-driven testing improves user experience and conversion outcomes.
• This role is not for high-level strategists who don’t execute, nor for analysts who only report on data.
• We’re looking for someone who can own experimentation end-to-end — from setting up tests and tracking, to QA, analysis, and clear recommendations.
• You’ll work closely with design, copy, engineering, and growth stakeholders to ship experiments, maintain clean analytics, and continuously improve website performance through structured testing and insights.
Qualifications
• 2–4+ years of hands-on experience in web analytics, CRO, or experimentation
• Comfortable working directly in GA4 and Google Tag Manager
• Direct experience with A/B testing platforms (VWO preferred; Optimizely acceptable)
• Ability to “zoom in” on execution details and “zoom out” to explain performance outcomes
• Understanding of how experimentation drives conversion improvements across the funnel
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tests at once
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work PST or overlapping US hours
Requirements
• Build, launch, and manage A/B tests in VWO (layouts, copy, images, page elements)
• Own experiments end-to-end: setup, QA, launch, monitoring, and readouts
• Apply CRO best practices around test duration, guardrails, and result interpretation
• Increase experiment velocity while maintaining quality and reliability
• Set up and maintain GA4 tracking, including custom events and funnel reports
• Create, manage, and QA events in Google Tag Manager (GTM)
• Validate that tags, events, and experiments are firing correctly across devices and browsers
• Troubleshoot tracking issues in collaboration with developers as needed
• Translate experiment results into clear insights and next-step recommendations
• Use heatmaps and session recordings to understand user behavior
• Identify friction points and opportunities for follow-up tests
• Build a growing library of learnings that informs future experimentation
• Create and update website and blog pages in CMS (Directus; transferable CMS experience accepted)
• Support basic video workflows using Mux (simple thumbnail edits and publishing updates)
• Coordinate with design, copy, and dev teams to gather assets and unblock launches
• Keep experiments moving forward with minimal delays or rework
Benefits
• $5,000 – $6,000/month, depending on experience
• Health card for you + 1 dependent
• Parental benefits
• Paid leaves & holidays off
• Referral & performance incentives
Bonus Points
• Experience with Webflow
• Experience using Directus
• Familiarity with heatmap/session replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, Crazy Egg)
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for QA and minor test adjustments
• Familiarity with Power BI
• Experience contributing to CRO roadmaps or test prioritization frameworks
Your Tech Stack
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
• Tagging: Google Tag Manager (GTM)
• Experimentation: VWO (Optimizely acceptable)
• CMS: Directus
• Video: Mux
• Site Builder: Webflow
• Collaboration: Slack, Notion, Google Workspace
What to Expect
• Short analytics / CRO discussion or practical exercise before hire
• Start date: as soon as available
