Role Description • Provides technical field support for Mirus Bio customers, including experimental design and troubleshooting • Supports, nurtures, and helps to close sales opportunities • Tracks customer evaluations and opportunities through a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (e.g., Salesforce) • Represents Mirus Bio products to the life science community, including seminar and poster presentations of established technologies at local and large industry trade shows • Aligns with the Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure the value of the Mirus Bio product line is communicated clearly and effectively to customers and employees • Collaborates with Product Management, Technical Support, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to identify key customer requirements for future product development efforts • Coordinates with Commercial and Marketing teams to schedule onsite demonstrations and customer training • Actively provides feedback regarding customer requirements, product evaluations, and general product improvements • Develops technical marketing pieces and content (e.g., whitepapers, application notes, advertorials, email blasts, social media posts, etc.) and gathers information necessary to aid the Marketing, Sales and Support teams in effectively supporting our products to new and existing customers Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics or a life sciences-related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of life science research/lab experience equivalent experience with demonstrated industry performance • OR a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics or a life sciences-related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of life science research/lab experience equivalent experience with demonstrated industry performance • Hands on experience with CGT (Cell and Gene Therapy) • Four or more years of wet lab experience • Minimum of five years of experimental design and troubleshooting • Five or more years of public speaking/presentation experience • Must be able to travel domestically up to 50% of the time Requirements • Experience with transfection, electroporation, and viral transduction workflows • Understanding and experience working in the cell and gene therapy space with a focus on VV (Viral Vector) modalities • Exposure and awareness of the evaluation, use, and implementation of ancillary materials throughout the cell and gene therapy process • Appreciation of cell and gene therapy drug assets and the drug asset customer journey • CRM experience like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot etc. Benefits • Medical, vision, and dental insurance • Life insurance • Disability insurance • 401(k) matching program • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including cash bonuses Apply tot his job
