Job Summary Newscape Studios, Inc operates dozens of YouTube channels, with over 20 million total subscribers. We create content based on popular video games, including Roblox, Minecraft, and original animations. Newscape also produces a vast array of videos for a young audience and creates content through animation and machinima. We are looking to add talented and creative script writers to our team. The ideal individual will be comfortable conducting research on our content and characters, have great comedic timing, and understand character dynamics. Channel to match style of: Responsibilities and Duties: • Create scripts that are between 13-15 pages • Conduct research on characters and content • Open to feedback and comfortable making revisions • Can balance fast-paced action with great comedic timing Qualifications And Skills • Expertise in shortform writing • Communicate effectively • Great listening skills • Comfortable in meeting deadlines • Strong attention to detail and consistency • Strong connection to nerd culture Applicants will not be considered for this role if no link to scripts is provided.
