About the position Responsibilities • Assist Groups team in providing exceptional coordination of Group Blocks & Reservations. • Respond to email and phone group inquiries, general reservation calls, and assist other departments as assigned. • Provide excellent sales presentations on the phone and in writing. • Provide accurate documentation. • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and use proper etiquette and language at all times. • Maintain department performance standards. • Maintain current awareness of new procedures, memos, and department objectives. • Communicate with management regarding any issues related to customers, equipment, and escalated situations or problems. • Operate all equipment as instructed and for its intended use. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required. • Must be detail oriented. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required. • Ability to communicate technical and service job expectations effectively and professionally. • Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
