Food Service Worker

Job Description: The main responsibility of the Server is Making Pleasurable Dining Affordable. Fulfilling Golden Corral's mission statement requires a positive attitude and on going professionalism. Hospitality is the most important part of the Server's responsibilities. The keys to success for a Server include a clean, neat appearance, positive attitude, and courtesy. Responsibilities: • Ensure guest satisfaction and encourage return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service • Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests • Anticipate guest needs and work to create a pleasurable dining experience • Demonstrate enthusiasm and knowledge of menu items and special promotions • Support fellow servers and staff to deliver outstanding team service • Understand product specifications and ensure accurate guest check totals • Perform opening and closing duties and side work tasks • Report any equipment or facility issues to the manager • Follow proper bussing and table reset procedures • Practice all safety protocols for guest and team well-being • Complete tasks on the duty roster, maintaining service, quality, and cleanliness standards • Comply with local health department laws and food safety standards Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years old • No prior experience required – training will be provided • Must have a clean, neat appearance and maintain uniform standards • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Friendly and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment • Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or dishes for extended periods • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Commitment to safe work practices and guest satisfaction About company: We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
