Humana, through CenterWell Senior Primary Care, is seeking a Floating Ultrasound Technician to join their caring community. The role involves performing ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures, maintaining treatment records, and managing equipment and supplies while providing patient-centered care in various locations.
Responsibilities
- Operates specialized X-ray equipment as prescribed by the physician
- Keeps treatment records and prepares operational reports as required
- Maintains, stores and orders equipment and supplies
- Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects
- Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge
Skills
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent and, as individual states require, accreditation through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Certification as an Ultra-Sound Technician with 1+ years' experience in a diagnostic facility or hospital as an Ultrasound Technician
- RDMS Certification required
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment
- Experience with MS Outlook
- Basic Computer knowledge
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
