Financial Analyst, GPS

Deloitte is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their GPS Financial Planning & Analysis team. In this role, you will help assess, forecast, and drive the financial performance of the business by analyzing firm financial data and providing actionable insights. Responsibilities Serve as trusted business advisor to Offering Portfolio (OP) leaders by analyzing & presenting data and sharing insights and recommendations to help guide decision making Support the development of OP Plans, Forecasts and scenario modeling Participate in strategy development and risk management with OP leadership Engage in business-wide financial activities to support operations, drive transformation, and fulfill deliverables across the matrixed organization Support cross-business activities and ad hoc analyses where needed Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar quantitative subject 1+ years of relevant financial analysis experience, preferably in a professional services firm 1+ years of experience with SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Business Client and other financial applications 1+ years of experience in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word Must be able to work with a team that is primarily based in east coast time Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Familiarity with government contracts Familiarity with a matrix organizational structure Professional services financial experience Experience working with offshore and remote teams Willingness to learn & utilize available technology tools (e.g., Sidekick, Copilot) Benefits Discretionary annual incentive program Company Overview Deloitte is a business consulting company that offers audit, consulting, financial advisory, and tax services.
