Overview:
Based in Northern, VA, Axiologic Solutions LLC has opportunities for you to become part of our high-quality team that delivers innovative solutions to key federal clients. We are currently seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to support a growing company's needs in a high security environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the SMO (and associated responsibilities), PERSEC/OPSEC, maintain FCL status of all cage codes
- Manage and maintain the corporate security program, including associated documentation and company risk management
- Provide outstanding customer service to assist employees, subcontractors, and consultants with their personnel security packages and associated investigation and reinvestigation requirements
- Execute all particulars of Axiologic Solutions’ personnel security program
- Administer security education, training, and awareness programs, and conduct security assessments using Fixed Facility Checklist or DCSA Self Inspection handbook
- Initiate background investigation requests (including fingerprinting) using e-QIP via DISS
- Understand FieldPrint and SWFT for the submission of fingerprints
- Provide initial security indoctrination briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher briefings along with NATO and Courier briefings as required
- Ensure the continued physical security integrity for the facility
- Perform visitor control functions to include processing of outgoing visit requests
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of industrial security community policy changes and communicate pertinent changes to the division director
- Maintain the visitor log and ensure proper filing
- Understand contracts, SOWs, and DD254s and task orders to determine security requirements.
- Support the preparation of standard operating procedures outlining regulations; establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, as well as for the granting of personnel and visitor's access to restricted records, materials, and classified spaces
- Support company proposals by providing experience in all areas of government security
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- TS is required, SCI desired, and ability to maintain SCI required
- 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Completed DCSA FSO Curriculum
- Demonstrated experience in the following:- vulnerability identification, risk analysis, and vulnerability mitigation
- conducting investigations
- supporting a variety of IC organizations
- supporting DOD organizations
- with managing the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements
- maintaining records in DISS
- Working knowledge of SF-86, SF-312, DD-254, 441, 441-1, SF-328, and other government-required forms
- Strong working knowledge of CFR 32, Part 117, National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM)
- Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, SAM.gov, and NISS
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- - Experience with Scattered Castles and SCIF-accredited spaces
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with the Insider Threat Program – or as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO)
This position will be 95% remote but will have onsite duties.
