Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Weekend Shift Production Associate to work on our weekend shift, which includes Saturday and Sunday only, with the possibility of overtime during the week. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for operating machinery, performing visual inspections, and manually trimming and molding components to produce high-quality cable connector parts. Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to produce cable connector parts for infusion pumps, following established procedures and guidelines to ensure high-quality output.
- Perform visual inspections using a magnifying glass to identify defects or irregularities in the components, with the ability to focus for long periods, sometimes up to 6-8 hours.
- Manually trim and mold components using hand-held cutters and trimming tools, requiring good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting production targets and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in training and development programs to learn new skills and stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing techniques and technologies.
Essential Qualifications
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience, preferably in an assembly line or production environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and manual dexterity.
