Job Overview

The Senior Sourcing Specialist will play a critical role in associating with business stakeholders across the organization to make informed sourcing decisions, maximizing the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend, and mitigating risks through intelligent contract negotiations. This position will involve collaborating with key executives, advising on market engagement, leading deal negotiations, and optimizing cross-sectional vendor relationships. As a strategic sourcing expert, you will work on a wide range of projects, exposing you to various service-providing industries, including consulting, advisory, financial, tax, audit, data subscriptions, translations, temporary workers, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities

• Join a dynamic team responsible for the strategic sourcing of Professional Services, building relationships with key executives, and advising on market engagement to identify the best vendor partners.
• Lead deal negotiations, assist in optimizing cross-sectional vendor relationships, and develop subject-matter expertise in the professional services category through research, networking, and project leadership.
• Participate in and lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders, evaluating vendors and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria.
• Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services, analyzing bids based on overall cost and delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the best value.
• Prepare and execute clear, fact-based negotiation strategies using Strategic Sourcing methodology, and prepare and execute contracts, as well as perform post-award administration.
• Understand and assist in the development and execution of performance management programs with vendors that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement policies and best practices, communicating and documenting the status of any significant external relationships that may impact planning and decision-making.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years of services category sourcing.
• Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels.
• Strong strategic agility, analytical skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Internal client focus, ability to work in various environments, and ability to handle ambiguity.
• Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes, basic legal terms and conditions, and entertainment industry trends and situations.
• Proven proficiency with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements.
• Established experience working with the legal department on subjects related to boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services.
• Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus.
• Consulting/Advisory background is a plus.
