Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate fully integrated solutions across build/buy that provide seamless end-to-end product experiences, leveraging AI and GenAI technologies.
• Influence the broad AI strategy and vision for internal enterprise applications, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
• Apply AI and GenAI responsibly to solve complex enterprise problems, enhancing productivity for the entire workforce.
• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for modern integration methods between applications, third-party services, and other Netflix teams' services.
• Collaborate effectively with myriad teams across Netflix, communicating technical ideas persuasively and influencing team and project direction.
• Develop and maintain high-quality APIs for internal and external products, ensuring seamless integration with internal and third-party services.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time.
• 2+ years of deep experience with Applied AI, GenAI, LLMs, ML, RAG, and other related technologies.
• Expert knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and modern design patterns, as well as data layers and cloud computing platforms like AWS and GCP.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or Java, with a strong understanding of software development principles.
• Demonstrable ability to lead projects and deliver end products on time, with a passion for building internal solutions and owning development of enterprise-wide applications.
• Extensive experience integrating internal and third-party services into solutions, with a strong understanding of API development and management.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Additionally, you may have:

• Experience with Node, JavaScript, React, SpringBoot, NoSQL, GraphQL, and other relevant technologies.
• Background in automating workflows across the enterprise, with a strong understanding of machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience in NLP or reinforcement learning, with a deep understanding of deep learning architectures and their applications.
