Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at Tesla, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing, coding, and maintaining mobile client experiences from start to finish
- Optimizing code for performance, stability, and functionality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, application/UI programmers, QA/Validation, and designers
- Developing and maintaining high-quality, efficient, and scalable code
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of the overall codebase
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience in mobile (iOS/Android) development
- Proficiency in at least one: Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong understanding of fundamental software engineering concepts and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with React/React Native
- Knowledge of common design patterns and experience with code quality, efficiency, and performance
- Experience developing, maintaining, and delivering high-level mobile applications
