About Our Company and the Role
Online Consumer Panels America is a leading consulting firm specializing in product testing and development. We collaborate with market research firms to design and conduct In-Home Usage Testing (IHUT) projects, ensuring that products meet the required standards for certification and market success. As a Remote Product Tester, you will be working on various IHUT projects, testing products, and providing detailed feedback to help companies improve their offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct In-Home Usage Tests: Carefully follow the provided In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule to test products, document your experience, and provide feedback through various channels (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.).
- Handle Products with Care: Use the products being tested responsibly and take good care of them to ensure they remain in good condition throughout the testing period.
- Provide Detailed Feedback: Read and strictly follow the instructions provided for each project, which may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, making journal entries, providing online or mobile feedback, using the product for a specified duration, writing reviews, and taking pictures.
- Utilize Cutting-Edge Technology: Some projects may require the use of MFour's Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology to capture Point-of-Emotion insights, providing unparalleled depth of responses.
- Participate in Online Discussions: Engage in private chat rooms opened by market research firms to discuss the products being tested.
- Write Reviews: As requested, write comprehensive reviews based on your experience with the products tested.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to Follow Instructions: Carefully read and adhere to the instructions provided for each project.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a curious spirit to provide high-quality feedback.
- Time Commitment: Be available to work 15-25 hours per week and commit to a certain routine.
- Technical Requirements: Have access to a computer with a reliable internet connection and a digital camera or cell phone capable of taking high-quality pictures.
- Integrity and Reliability: Be honest, reliable, and maintain confidentiality when required.
- Good Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills to effectively provide feedback and participate in online discussions.
- Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years old.
