As a Property Coordinator/Data Entry Clerk on our team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Facilities and Testing Department. This is a temporary opportunity not to exceed 12 weeks, and we're looking for a talented individual who is eager to contribute their skills and experience to our dynamic team.
**Your Impact:**
As a Property Coordinator/Data Entry Clerk, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our team's success. Your tasks will include:
* Preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry
* Checking source documents for accuracy and verifying and correcting data where necessary
* Transcribing information into required electronic formats
* Checking completed work for accuracy and responding to requests for information and accessing relevant files
* Entering data from source documents into prescribed computer databases, files, and forms
* Performing other duties as required
**What We're Looking For:**
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to follow instructions. The ideal candidate will have:
* Two (2) years of courses in a designated field or trade school, and three (3) years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
* Basic knowledge of proper office procedures
* Ability to follow instructions and apply basic mathematical skills
* Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with plans and blueprints
* Ability to recognize and report safety hazards and understand inventory processes
* Experience working in both an office and warehouse environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
* Two (2) years of college courses in a related field, plus four (4) years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience for a total of six (6) years
* Familiarity with MAXIMO and the Microsoft Office suite
* Understanding of government property processes and recordkeeping
* Receiving and inspection experience
