About the Role
As a Pharmacy Warehouse Associate with CVS Health, you'll play a critical role in our Central Fill team, working in a fast-paced, closed-door pharmacy setting to fill prescriptions for our retail pharmacy locations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely processing of patient prescriptions, while collaborating with a talented team of pharmacists and professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate Prescription Filling: Work efficiently to fill patient prescriptions, adhering to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Automated Dispensing Systems: Manage, operate, and maintain our automated dispensing systems to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Inventory Management: Ensure proper inventory management and workflow processes are followed to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize delays.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understand and adhere to relevant federal and state regulations (e.g., HIPAA), guidelines (e.g., OSHA), professional standards, and ethical principles, as well as CVS policies and procedures.
- Collaboration with Delivery Vendors: Work closely with delivery vendors to ensure accurate and timely preparation and packaging of prescriptions for delivery.
- Quality and Productivity: Balance quality and productivity in all tasks, maintaining accuracy while consistently meeting workflow objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal partners and pharmacists to complete critical tasks and identify opportunities for improvement.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required for this role.
- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, clinical, or customer care setting is highly preferred.
