Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist to join our team at blithequark. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, including processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service. In addition to your pharmacy duties, you will also be responsible for data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient and drug information. This is a full-time, remote opportunity, offering a competitive salary of $75,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, including processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Develop strong relationships with customers, resolving issues and answering inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a unique and delightful customer experience
• Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Assist with inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures regarding pharmacy errors and quality improvement

Essential Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Preferred: 6 months of experience in a retail environment
• Preferred: Previous work experience with blithequark
• Preferred: Basic math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
• Preferred: Basic computer skills
• Preferred: Knowledge of store inventory control
• Preferred: PTCB certification
