As a Patient Account Representative II - Call Center/Customer Service, you will be an integral part of our Revenue Cycle team, working remotely to support two of arenaflex's facilities. **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Patient Account Representative II - Call Center/Customer Service to join our team. As a key member of our Revenue Cycle team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, insurance companies, and other external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. You will also be responsible for updating and documenting financial data within our designated system, utilizing your computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. **Responsibilities:** As a Patient Account Representative II - Call Center/Customer Service, your key responsibilities will include: * Making and answering phone calls to and from hospital and/or physician group customers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Maintaining required levels of productivity and quality while managing tasks to ensure the timely resolution of analytic reports. * Utilizing identified and known resources to accomplish analytic report follow-up, including payor websites, provider service lines, analytics, and correspondence. * Participating in A/R clean-up projects or other projects identified by leadership. * Taking ownership of assignments and other duties as assigned or requested. * Communicating and listening effectively with internal and external customers, effectively understanding instructions and sharing knowledge. * Cooperating and interacting with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups, demonstrating our commitment to service. * Providing training to new or existing staff as directed by leadership, when necessary. * Working to identify ways to reduce calls or wait times, which will increase customer satisfaction. * Demonstrating leadership qualities and initiative amongst peers and coworkers. **Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (required) * One or more of the following systems or applications: Epic, SSI, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word (preferred) * 1-2 years previous customer service experience (preferred) * Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing * Ability to work independently * General Accounting and bookkeeping skills * Strong customer service and interpersonal skills * Knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology **Skills and Competencies:** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
