• Apply mathematical and statistical principles to create long-term forecasting algorithms that solve complex business problems in retail
• Perform data exploration tasks, extract insights, and create storyboards from data analysis
• Present clear and accurate root-cause analysis to data scientists and leadership
• Build training workflows for machine learning algorithms on tens of millions of data points and create algorithmic solutions, including data expertise, feature engineering, model development, validation, and model deployment
• Lead and develop large-scale implementations of machine learning models and algorithmic solutions using rich retail data sources
• Review model performance and identify improvements to enhance models
• Collaborate with global AI team, scientists, engineers, and business partners to identify and lead new opportunities

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field, with at least 7 years of experience as a data or machine learning scientist
• At least 2 years of experience working with large amounts of data and solving business problems
• Experience with machine learning, risk theory, and statistics, as well as programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, SAS, and Spark
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, algorithms, and computational complexity
