About the Role
We are searching for a talented and ambitious Data Entry Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a remote work-from-home position, offering the flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including early mornings, nights, and weekends. Under the supervision of the Team Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for phone and online research, as well as data collection. This position may be based in Illinois and Arizona, and we are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct phone and online research to gather data and information
- Enter data into our systems with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Meet deadlines and work efficiently to achieve productivity goals
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with the Data Management team to achieve team objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the foodservice industry
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong interest in data entry and research, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in data entry or an adjacent role, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Publisher, and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Deadline-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently and meet productivity goals
- A strong understanding of the food, beverage, and restaurant industry, including classifications and types
- A general understanding of menu structure and foodservice operations
- Foodservice experience is a plus, but not required
- The ability to provide your own desktop computer or laptop and internet connectivity in a private, secure environment (tablets are not acceptable)
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with up to 29 hours available

Compensation and Benefits
