Job Overview

The role is a hybrid position, offering a mix of remote and in-office work, with a flexible schedule that includes 2-3 days of in-office work per week. As a Project Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our Revenue Recovery Department, working closely with our team of experts to ensure that our clients receive the reimbursement they are entitled to.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
- Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
- Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and data integrity.
- Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Running and creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support the recovery team in their efforts.
- Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry tasks as needed by the recovery team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Scanning and indexing documents, ensuring that all records are accurately filed and easily accessible.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health information management, business administration) preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry, medical records, or a related field, with a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
