This hybrid position offers a mix of remote and in-office work, with a flexible schedule of 2-3 days on and off. As a Project Associate, you will play a vital role in our Revenue Recovery Department, working closely with our team of professionals to ensure seamless operations and exceptional client service. Your primary responsibilities will include retrieving patient medical records, generating and preparing patient itemized bills, extracting and entering necessary information, and making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to gather required information.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards
- Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining data integrity and attention to detail
- Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Running and creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support revenue recovery operations
- Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team, showcasing flexibility and adaptability
- Scanning and indexing of documents, ensuring accurate and secure storage of sensitive information
Essential Qualifications
