Job Overview
In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting our paid media analytics capability to surface data-driven business opportunities for the executive leadership team, focusing on the optimization of our paid media spend worldwide. You will collaborate with marketing teams to identify ways to improve the efficiencies of our paid media spend and develop reporting and analyses to inform and drive decisions. As a key member of our analytics team, you will play a central role in supporting strategic navigation by creating and communicating customized reporting and insights that will illuminate our paid media strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver reporting and insights in the area of paid media to inform business decisions and drive optimization efforts
- Design and build/lead the development of analytics, business intelligence, and data science solutions aimed at enhancing visible paid media and improving marketing efficiencies
- Collaborate with the paid media data science team and marketing teams on implementing media mix models
- Lead ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by rapid interpretation of results and the definition and communication of recommendations that drive action
- Serve as a partner with marketing, finance, and product teams to address business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach
- Utilize Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports
- Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from arenaflex, as well as external data from market research and marketing firms) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights
- Conceptualize and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field
- Advanced SQL skills
- Advanced experience with at least one industry analytics and visualization tool (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI)
- Expertise in Excel with a proven track record
- Degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related field

- Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations
- Experience with and/or interest in learning more about cutting-edge data science approaches
- Programming languages: knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS
- Knowledge of Adobe Analytics
