About the Role
As a Machine Learning Data Scientist in our Product and Customer Analytics Group, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team that's dedicated to developing cutting-edge analytics solutions. Your work will focus on analyzing vast amounts of data generated by user search, app content, and App Store context to drive business insights that enhance the user experience and drive discovery and efficiency for app developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the analysis, development, implementation, and measurement of analytics solutions that inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Transform complex data into actionable business insights that improve the user experience and drive discovery and efficiency for app developers.
- Collaborate with product and service teams to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner, influencing overall product strategy.
- Work closely with engineering partners to meet the data needs of the business, translating business requirements into analytics requirements.
- Conduct complex quantitative analyses, including regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analyses.
- Design and execute experiments on large datasets to drive business insights and inform product decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends, applying knowledge of database modeling and data warehousing principles to drive innovation.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in a data science role, preferably in the digital advertising industry or product analytics.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience working with AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, and other data technologies.
- Experience working with clickstream data and A/B experimentation.
- Proven ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business outcomes through data-driven decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques, including predictive modeling and clustering.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques, with experience building reporting dashboards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a strong focus on innovation and collaboration.
