Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to members of a Medicare Advantage plan, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage a senior population by exhibiting a strong dedication to showing empathy and using active listening skills to hear members and their concerns.
- Document calls appropriately to reflect each interaction with members, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Meet and exceed contact center targets for call management, quality, and adherence to schedule, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage all calls with professionalism and escalate calls when necessary to the next level, ensuring seamless resolution and minimal disruption to members.
Operational Hours and Shifts
Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-8pm EST, with varying shifts available within these hours. During open enrollment, our operation hours will change to include weekends as part of the work shift, ensuring we provide uninterrupted support to our members. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our members.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in health insurance/Medicare/Medicaid customer service, with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its complexities.
- 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment, with proficiency in using QNXT and other relevant software applications.
- Member Service knowledge, HIPAA, Claims, and Provider Services knowledge, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- High School graduate or GED, with a 2-4 year undergraduate degree or certificate being a plus, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a desire for continuous learning.
- Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience in using dual monitors, multiple applications, and phone simultaneously, with keyboard skills and the ability to enter data with accuracy and attention to detail.
What We Offer
At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for professional growth and development. The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for arenaflex's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of our applicable plans.
