Key Responsibilities
As a Groundperson - ATE, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating chainsaws to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
- Dragging, gathering, and feeding brush into a woodchipper.
- Servicing vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
- Working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborating with crew members to achieve project goals.
- Adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No prior experience is required, but previous experience in a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver's license preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires:
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
