Blithequark is seeking an exceptional Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics to lead our Trust and Safety team in the fight against online abuse and misinformation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to protect our users, creators, and advertisers from harm. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Adversarial Abuse team responsible for identifying and mitigating threats from account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, and other forms of online abuse.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and detect online abuse, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Policy Development.
- Lead the Business Analytics team responsible for generating insights, measuring abuse, and publishing Transparency Reports for countries around the world.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop policies and procedures that promote a safe and respectful online community.
- Manage and develop high-performing teams, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure their success.
- Communicate effectively with senior leaders, partners, and external stakeholders to build trust and credibility.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, data science, engineering).
- At least 4 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience working with data analytics and machine learning models.
- 2 years of experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., data science, engineering, computer science).
- Experience with SQL, R, or Matlab.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
