**Key Responsibilities**
As a Ramp Agent, you'll be responsible for:
* Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections and guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions.
* Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related issues.
* Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
* Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate baggage routing to customers' destinations.
* Maintaining a high level of safety awareness and adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
**Work Environment and Schedule**
As a Ramp Agent, you'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and overnights. You'll be required to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on operational needs and your seniority. Our stations are located in various airports, and you'll have the opportunity to work in different locations as you gain experience and seniority.

**What You Need to Succeed**
To be a successful Ramp Agent, you'll need:
* A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
* Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States.
* Have a valid driver's license.
* Proficiency in English.
* Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
* Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
* Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
