**The Role**
As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, optimizing, and supporting modern database solutions. This role emphasizes high availability, performance tuning, and leading cloud migrations to Azure. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their needs, to develop tailored solutions, and to deliver exceptional results.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and optimize SQL Server platforms, focusing on performance, high availability, and failover clustering.
* Lead migrations of on-premises databases to Azure and other cloud platforms.
* Architect disaster recovery solutions using FCI, Always On availability groups, and Azure services.
* Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for enterprise-level systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement database solutions.
* Provide expert-level support and guidance to clients on database-related issues.
**Essential Qualifications**
* 4 to 8 years of experience with SQL Server (2012+), Azure SQL, and data warehousing.
* Expertise in high availability, clustering, and cloud-based database solutions.
* Experience with Azure services like Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, and IaaS.
* Strong skills in database performance tuning and query optimization.
* Proven ability to work independently with strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Comfort in presenting complex information to clients and influencing decisions effectively.
