Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join us on this journey. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and chat * Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner * Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues * Maintaining accurate records and reports to track customer interactions and issues * Participating in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and knowledge * Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives **What You'll Do** Here are some of the specific tasks you'll perform as a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex: * Issue, reissue, and refund traveler tickets * Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations * Rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Perform traveler check-in and boarding tasks (excluding curbside), correct oversold seat tasks, and issue updates * Issue vouchers or coordinate with vendors for traveler hotel facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinate refuel and revive * Perform traveler loading, including ticket lift or ticket lift/confirmation * Work door reader/scanner and related tasks to include pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items and departure line models * Work jetways/spans for purposes of boarding and deplaning travelers * Make boarding and flight door announcements * Convey domestic/international flight records * Perform traveler service flight close-out systems * Accept, check, and label travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters * Maintain schedule of flight loading process * Perform customer service hands-on training * Process and complete visa document exchanges at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Help travelers with self-service kiosk registration and booth items handling at ticket counters * Line up lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clear/confirm international reports at booth in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accept and initiate travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Help clients requiring special assistance or in-station; help boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors * Perform customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Have regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any compulsory overtime requirements * Answer and assist during security as well as emergency situations * Furnish connecting travelers with gate information * Provide quality customer service in a professional manner and according to American's standards * Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards * Complete task applicable stages of training * Comply with federal laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA) * Utilize various internal resources/systems including during customer interactions * Wear uniforms as required by company policy * Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities. **Contingent upon your airport size, you may also perform the following:** * Perform Traveler Activity Control capabilities including air to ground communication along with Peak capabilities * Help international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage reverify * Convey tickets, international flight records, and customs/migration forms **All You'll Need for Success** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred * Bilingual language skills required in certain areas * Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities * Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display area (SIDA), if applicable * Must be able to obtain proper airport power or US Customs security identifications, if relevant * Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, extensive personal investigation, or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements * Must be approved to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications** * Instruction and Earlier Professional training * Working knowledge of Saber or other Traveler Service Framework * Past face-to-face Customer service experience * Working in a high-speed environment **What You'll Get** As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you'll enjoy: * Medical benefits: On the very first day, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay healthy.
