Job Overview

This full-time Customer Service Representative position requires an initial 4 weeks of in-person training at our Wading River, NY office, Monday through Friday, from 8am-12pm. After completing the training period, you will have the flexibility to work from home, managing a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and text message inquiries from customers. Your shift will be Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $18.00 and an expected 40 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and text message inquiries from customers, providing accurate and timely information regarding products, services, and policies.
• Assist customers with order placement and scheduling, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and efficient manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain customer records and update information as needed, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
• Perform outbound calls to follow up on inquiries or obtain feedback, continuously improving our services and customer experience.
• Process orders, refunds, and returns efficiently with attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Communicate with customers, answering calls and emails to potential customers, and following up on leads to drive business growth.
• Prepare and email estimates, providing clear and concise information to customers.

Essential Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role is required, with a minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively articulate complex information to customers.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on resolving customer issues efficiently and professionally.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple customer interactions and requests simultaneously.
• Proficient in using Windows, email, and creating and emailing PDF estimates and documents, with a strong foundation in technology and software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities, maintaining a high level of productivity and performance.

• Experience in the heating industry, with knowledge of fuel oil delivery, heating repair, and installation services.
