- Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer, understanding their needs, and driving process improvements.
- Order items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers, and source products from branch inventory, distribution center inventory, or supplier inventory as needed.
- Determine the most cost-effective shipping method for customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction, and expedites backorders as required.
- Handle customer returns, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will typically require a high school diploma or GED and zero to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination. You will also possess:
- Reliability, organization, and attention to detail, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively, with moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, and using business systems.
