Job Summary
We're seeking highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Agents to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our passengers, handling ticketing and reservations, and resolving customer inquiries in a professional manner. Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with ticketing and reservations, providing accurate and up-to-date information about flight schedules, fares, and policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring compliance with all airline policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth airport operations, including assisting passengers with special needs, such as unaccompanied minors and passengers with disabilities.
- Provide information about flight schedules, fares, and policies, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize computer systems and software to process transactions, manage reservations, and maintain accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the airline industry, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with passengers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn new software quickly, with experience with airline reservation systems a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and be available to work varied shifts.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Skills
- Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable, as it will enable you to communicate effectively with a diverse range of passengers.
- Experience with airline reservation systems, such as Sabre or Amadeus, is preferred, as it will enable you to quickly adapt to our systems.
